Posted by Renea on January 11th, 2012 There are a lot of websites on the internet, on where you can sell silver for a good price. They have a lot of promotions and other enticing advertisements that tend to captivate those that are looking for a place to sell old silver dollar. I am one of those people that sell silver online and I didn’t have any problems so far. I was lucky because I found a good website that actually buys them for a good price and I even recommended it to some of my friends. They thanked me for my recommendation and they were able to make their trade successfully.
My dad used to tell me that I should be more careful when doing transactions online because there are a lot of people that gets scammed on the internet. I took his words seriously and chose carefully. My choice proved to be the right one and I was able to get a good price, for the silver dollar coins that I sold online. My little sister’s birthday is just a few days away and I’m planning to buy her the best birthday cake that I can find in the city.
Posted by Renea on December 3rd, 2011 I’ve been living alone in my parents’ house since they mom died from high blood pressure with tons of complications. The house is just too old for a middle aged woman like me and I have been dreaming for a modern and hip style of house all my life. When I thought I got enough money for renovation, a friend referred me a contractor and I called them right away.
The problem is I still lack a couple of bucks. We haven’t agreed with the contract yet because my money isn’t enough. My mom’s old jewelry gave me an idea. To sell jewelry is the easiest way to earn the money I need for the renovation so I got right on it.
Their service of cash for gold is totally awesome. In just a period of time, I got my money so I called the contractor to start the renovation. The project was finished a month ago and I am very happy with the results. If I didn’t sell my gold, I will never have my dream house. Thanks to that online jeweler, he gave me the most honest service ever.
Posted by Renea on September 23rd, 2011 A few months ago, I got out of a relationship due to reasons I do not want to recall ever again. It was a very hard time for me because we have been together for three years and we spent so much time together then. He was really sweet before and he often bought me gifts like necklaces, bracelets and earrings. When we broke up, I just felt really awful that even looking at the gifts makes me feel sick.
My best friend told me that I can get rid of the gifts and make money while at it by selling old jewelry. Some of the pieces were really beautiful, but I was resolute about giving them all up. Things are really not going to work out for us anymore, so I had no choice. Besides, it also made sense to get money in exchange so I can spend it on more necessary things.
So my friend helped me look for a dealer, and her colleague told her about his wonderful experience with a jeweler he found online. He had to sell old jewelry before when he needed extra money for a surgery, so he recommended the jeweler. We took his word for it and eventually I got around $1600! Thankfully my ex was not a cheapskate and bought me real stuff, or else the jewelry must have been worth nothing. Now, without the things that remind me of him, I am ready to move on.
Posted by Renea on August 10th, 2011 I was in deep awe when I was told by my mom to open up her jewelry box. I don’t have any inkling why she gave me permission to take a peek on her collection. I vividly remember when I was a child that one of her golden rules was not to open any of her boxes without her instructions. Now, I was able to touch and even try some of her collections which is really flabbergasting.
My mom used to tell us that she bought some scarp jewelry which then melted to pave way to her newly design piece of ornament. Their family was into buy and sell scrap jewelry which she wanted us to inherit. Her acumen for jewelry business paid off and she was even given recognition for her passion and dedication to jewelry industry.
Now, I am learning the business to sell old jewelry and I find it very interesting and engaging. The joy of talking about jewelry and its carat, cuts and designs fascinates me the most. Without a doubt, jewelry business can take profits for you.
Posted by Renea on June 6th, 2011 Precious metals are in high demand all over the world. And because of this, nations who have large deposits of them take advantage of this good fortune and make use of these resources which benefit not only them but other countries that need them. Unfortunately, mining is also one of the most destructive human activities on the planet. This is why many experts advocate recycling of such materials to help protect the environment. One way to do that is to sell silver jewelry instead of hoarding them.
Selling silver items that are not in use is an excellent way to keep the balance between supply and demand. Many collectors take pride in the huge number of jewelry they own but they become oblivious to the effects of silver mining. With growing demands for silver in various sectors, suppliers tend to disregard the safety of the environment in exchange for a big payday. It’s a good thing that some manufacturers have resorted to artificial production of silver although of lower grade compared to the mined variety. But the thing is, no matter how small, recycling silver really helps a lot.
Posted by Renea on April 29th, 2011 When my friend Mike asked me on where I sell coins, I told him that I do it online. He likes to know on how the online trade is done because he also has some old silver coins in his possession. I told him how it was done and he was thankful for the help that I gave him. Selling old silver coins doesn’t have to be complicated. All you need to do is find a genuine online store to sell them and everything will be a piece of cake. That is what I’ve learned from my own experience and I know that he will also feel the same after his first trade is completed.
His cheque arrived after a few days and he invited me to go drinking at our favorite bar. We had a great time and he invited our old buddies to join us. I didn’t ask on how much did he get from his silver coins, but I think that it was pretty good amount because he was smiling a lot that night. I just hope that he applies moderation in selling his collection.

If you have an interest in coin collection or you just have come to receive old coins as a gift, you are lucky indeed. Old coins are considered precious and valuable nowadays. You may sell coins in the Internet, either at your local jeweler and coin shop or a known coin collector. However, before selling it immediately, consider loads of understanding of coin selling process first. Moreover, check yourself if you are really ready to let go of the loved coin collection.
Initially, you must identify the market value of each of the coins. You can do this by asking the professionals to have your coins appraised and ask for a certificate of appraisal from them. Because with a certificate on hand, there will be no problem in selling the said coins on your specified price.
Furthermore, the last thing to do is to look for a buyer, a reasonable and certified one. Although, there are loads of coin and jeweler shops in the market, you may consider selling old silvercoins to private coin collectors, which may give you higher amount of money for the coveted collection of coins.
Posted by Renea on October 19th, 2010 It was 1992 when I received a set of jewelry from my Aunt and Uncle as my graduation present. They said it’s an old gold that they inherited form their grandmother. I was thankful for the gift but hesitant to accept it because of its style and age. I never had interest in wearing the old jewelry. Instead, I kept it in a box together with my old things.
Now, I have my own family. One day I decided to throw a garage sale. I almost forgot about the jewelry my relatives gave me. I didn’t know what to do or how to sell old jewelry. I went and asked my friend what to do. She gave me this address on a piece of paper and advised that I can do it anytime I want or I can just do it while I am watching my garage sale. It was such a success. I got my jewelry money in 24 hours. I had a successful garage sale in 24 hours too. I am so happy with everything that happened. And happy for finding a new friend, the jewelry shop. I will definitely tell my husband how I sell gold.
