Posted by Renea on June 30th, 2010 We are just starting our new business and we need office supplies for obvious reasons. Our budget is not that much and we wanted to maximize what we have left. So our business mentor asks us to buy from wholesaler because we have a greater chance to get discount office supplies. So we searched online for good offers then luckily we saw one that gives a good deal. We bought the office supplies to them and surprisingly we still have some money left. We take a look at our new office and double check what else are we lacking. Since it’s a new business and office, we decided then that we can use the extra money on buying industrial supplies for floor and carpet care. We spent too much for the interior of our new office and that includes the flooring so we really wanted to take good care of it. Our goal is to have to have a long term business and that means we need to have a long term reliable partner for the quality supplies we need to make our job efficient.
Posted by Renea on May 26th, 2010 My best friend is having a baby. When I heard about the news, I was actually more worried than excited. You see, girls don’t normally have babies at our age. That is also the reason why my friend’s pregnancy is not at all easy for her. Aside from the physical pains pregnancy brings to a new and young mother, my friend is also battling with negative comments, raised eyebrows, and a lot or emotional pressured from her family and the rest of the community. That is why, as a childhood friend, I want to be there for her every step of the way. I want her to feel that amidst all these negativities, there are a handful of people that are happy for her and excited for the coming of her baby. Although I also gave her a mouthful when she told me about her pregnancy, I know that blaming her for the rest of her life will just make things worse.
Tomorrow, I, together with some other friends, am going to throw her a simple baby shower. I am hoping that through this, my friend will have more reasons to be stronger, more than she already is. Maybe, when she sees the cute little footed pajamas and baby sleeper I am planning to give her, she will be more excited than worried for the coming of her little angel.

I am not sure why we are starting to do more business than we ever have, but it is really nice. I thought that maybe one of the other office supplies store in town must have closed, but that is not the case. In fact, I think that I heard that they are also doing very well.
The last eighteen months have been almost brutal for my store but maybe since the economy is supposed to be turning around, people are deciding to spend money again. If they had been trying to save money on office supply stuff before, they are certainly not worried about it now.
I had to call and have an extra truck make deliveries to us last week, to keep up with the demand. It feels so good to have people coming in and out of your store at all hours of the day. It feels like when I first opened the store and I sold my first office supply item, it was a rush.
Hoping that the economy is really in an uphill climb and that business stays this way. Even if it cut off to half of what it has been the last few weeks, it would be fine with me.
